Salary: £50K – £60K + 10% Bonus and a 3.5% flexi bonus which can be added to your salary or used against an array of benefits

Location: Hybrid 2 days per week – Berkshire

This role allows one to join one of the UK’s leading telecoms companies going through a major transformation and the digital experience is at the heart of that. They are in the process of implementing a brand-new technology stack that will deliver radically improved digital and omnichannel journeys and features to provide a market-leading experience that will delight customers.

This is a new role and a first of its kind within the team. This is part of the data transformation program and it a really exciting time to be part of this process and allows the right candidate to define the visualisation strategy. They require someone that is highly analytical but not someone purely focused on the BI side of the business. You would need to be a creative storyteller when presenting data by demonstrating the important data within the digital function, making complex data understandable for everyone.

Experience

* Strong visual design skills in bringing complex insights to life in Tableau, experience with open source visualisation (D3 / RShiny) is a plus

* Advanced expertise in Alteryx for data preparation & automation of workflows

* 2 years of experience in a visualisation role

* At ease working with complex data sets applying strong technical coding skills in SQL for data aggregation. Familiarity with Python / R is a bonus for bespoke data development and visualisation

* Experience with cloud database engines like Snowflake (preferred), BigQuery, Redshift

* Technical experience in digital analytics and associated technologies. We are fully invested in the Adobe stack (Analytics, Launch, Target, Campaign, AEM, AEP coming in Q4)

* Passionate about data visualisation, presenting desperate data sources into a compelling story to drive data led change and develop a data community

* Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions

* Self-starter with the ability to demonstrate self-direction, take others on a journey to achieve outcomes

* Collaboration skills to work across the organisation with virtual teams and stakeholders, leading the digital data led agenda

* Strong attention to detail regarding data, data quality and scripting to ensure robust and grounded recommendations are made

* Humble, positive and problem-solving nature
