The team is looking for someone who can help run the regular FP&A functions, help drive process improvements and think strategically.

This role will report to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for the bank and will help deliver proactive and insightful analysis, metrics and presentations to drive business decisions. Additionally this position will be responsible for reviewing loan originations and renewals for financial feasibility.

Key Responsibilities :

Planning and Forecasting : Assist the team and the head of FP&A in Actual results analysis, forecasting, budgeting and long range planning. Assist in the rolling monthly forecast, Budget and long-range planning collaborating with other groups and departments. Develop analytics to gain insight into performance and to drive future performance.

Deal analytics : Review deals submitted by business teams in Precision Lender for financial justification, accuracy and returns.

Actual Results analysis : Compare performance to Budget and historical periods to draw insights and present them analytically. Run monthly review process including monthly Flash independently.

Ad-hoc analysis : Support Board of Directors, Senior management team presentations, loan and funding analytics.

• 6-10 years of finance and FP&A experience preferably in Financial services (Consumer, commercial bank or investment bank).
• Financial modeling and analysis skills with advanced Excel and Powerpoint knowledge
• Hyperion Planning and/or Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
• Collaborative, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must demonstrate high energy, initiative and creativity.
• CFA, CPA, MBA preferred.
