What we expect from you

• Creativity: Delivers every idea and assignment with creativity and passion. Ability to translate a marketing need into a unique, creative brand.
• Conceptual work: Proven conceptual ability to create smart, strategic creative campaigns. Understands partnership with copywriter and works with brand team to ensure ideas are on strategy.
• New Business: Leads creative across media for new business pitches, trained in pitch prep as well
• Design skills: Exceptional ability to judge and critique design across all medium. Interactive design skills include websites, desktop applications, mobile applications and emails. Understanding of GUIs and design patterns. Knowledge of print design, print production and retouching required.
• User Experience: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business and development to create a meaningful user experience using various forms of digital media.
• Branding knowledge: Ability to design materials true to the brand identity of product and style guidelines set.
• Project Goals: Ensure work is in line with the goals of the project, and that client needs are met.
• Art Rights Management: proper documentation of imagery, familiarity with licensing, ability to work with art buyer for purchasing.
• Presentation: Ability to effectively articulate ideas, present to groups internally and externally.
• Communication: Open communication with supervisor to share progress of work and design and communicates with brand team.
• Time management: Manages time wisely across jobs, meets agreed upon deadlines and is accountable and responsible for their work.
• Experience: Knowledge of agency functions or applicability of experience, previous design experience in digital and print.

Background/experience and skills

• B.A. degree in graphic design, interactive design, advertising or other design-related program
• 10+ Years of design and supervisory experience required
• Fluid in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Basic knowledge of Flash Animation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
