**Position Filled**FT Nanny Needed

A warm and lively family in Alpine, NJ is seeking a full-time Saturday through Tuesday nanny for their two children ages 4.5 (b) and 2.5 (g)

The general schedule is: Saturday: 8am - 4pm, Sunday: 8am - 4pm, Monday: 10am - 6pm, Tuesday: 10am - 6pm

*Monday and Tuesday could shift a little bit earlier and additional hours may be needed on some weekends. Any shifts in the schedule will be discussed with as much advance notice as possible.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction.

• Prepare healthy children’s food

• Transport to and from school/camp/activities - using the family’s SUV

• Children’s laundry (clothing, bedding)

• Keep kid's rooms clean (trash cans, bathroom)

• Cycle out seasonal clothing, keep drawers organized

• Travel with family

• Reading to children daily

• Bathing children

• Naptime & Bedtime routine

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant FT nanny with children ages toddler and school-aged and will be reliable, engaging, upbeat, compassionate, open, honest, dedicated, knowledgeable about child development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s curiosity and interests and also seeking a long term position with a family.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant FT nanny experience.

• Valid Driver’s License

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• Clean background check.

• 2-3 relevant references.

• Ability to travel on occasion

• Vaccinated

• Must know how to swim - the family has a pool

• Team player and can work well with the Monday - Friday nanny.

Salary: $32.00 + gross hourly depending on experience and credentials.

Benefits: PTO: 2 weeks of vacation, certain holidays, 5 sick days per year, and others such as a healthcare stipend can be negotiated.
