As a Senior Mobile Application Developer, you will focus on the design and development of our mobile applications that positively impacts the health of our customers in countries around the world. We are looking for individuals with a strong passion for problem solving and developing software solutions in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have software development for both iOS and Android mobile platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have the opportunity to perform multiple roles and have fun solving challenges as – developer / designer / app architect / product manager.

• Mobile application development using React Native to support both Android and iOS users.
• Analyze business needs and available technologies to deliver quality software solutions.
• Work collaboratively as part of a fast paced agile team to complete projects on time.
• Evaluate new technologies to ensure software solutions are reliable, scalable and efficient.
• Troubleshoot problems identified in the fleet to ensure the platform meets the company’s quality objectives.
• Produce high-quality design, code and technical documentation.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience building consumer facing mobile apps with React Native (ideally preferred) OR 5+ years of experience developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Experience leading off-shore mobile application development teams.
• Proficient in design and development of REST APIs.
• Proficient in design and development of relational (e.g., MySQL) databases.

PREFERRED

• Experience with Node.js, React, Redux/MobX and Jest/Mocha or similar for unit testing.
• Experience in design and development of NoSQL databases.
• Experience building service-oriented APIs and cloud services in Node.js against AWS.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems, HIPAA, Mobile app/data security design principles.
