Accounting Coordinator Opportunity - Center City Law Firm - $50-60k

A hybrid schedule is available with this opportunity!

Position Overview:

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing the accounting functions of the law firm, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, cash receipts. The position collaborates with attorneys, administrative staff, and other professionals to ensure financial operations are compliant and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and analyze financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare and send invoices to clients on a regular basis.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in the firm's financial transactions.

• Generate accurate financial statements, reconciliations and reporting.

• Ensure that billing, collection, and expense management processes are performed timely and accurately.

• Monitor firm's financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and develop and implement effective measures to address financial constraints.

• Manage relationships with external vendors, including service providers, landlords, billing service providers, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not required.

• 3+ years of experience in accounting experience,from a legal environment is required.

• Familiar with accounting legal software such as Elite, 3E, Aderant, etc.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and company personnel.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and display a professional demeanor while performing tasks under pressure.
