The Role:

We are searching for a SVP, Strategic Account Manager, to lead and manage our most critical clients in the wealth management space. You’ll play an instrumental role in defining our account management strategy, cultivating influential relationships with key executive stakeholders, deepening revenue from existing implementations, and identifying new revenue growth opportunities through mutually beneficial partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as executive account owner and business partner within a portfolio of Morningstar ByAllAccounts’ institutional clients, maintained through in-person and virtual meetings.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within each account through expansion of existing user base (up-sell), while uncovering net new business opportunities (cross-sell).
• Build and maintain key influential relationships that drive positive business outcomes
• Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business objectives, and identify use-cases for ByAllAccounts by which they can best achieve those objectives.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with stakeholders to provide transparency
• Analyze client performance data/metrics and present insights and recommendations to clients in order to help incorporate best practices needed to maximize adoption.
• Align cross-functional account teams in Sales, Professional Services, and Support to evangelize and mobilize client needs, interests, and opportunities.
• Explore new product and service offerings with Product leadership by sharing customer feedback as it pertains to feature requests and evolving market needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience managing SaaS or cloud-based consultative solutions to C-level contacts in large strategic partner accounts
• Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales and renewal quotas
• 5+ years of wealth management industry experience, preferably with investment portfolio management solutions or related wealth platforms
• Plus, to those with account aggregation experience in wealth management space
• Proficiency in developing compelling presentations and conducting product demos to individuals and groups
• Experience analyzing client data and deriving insightful recommendations
• Ability to create account plans and tailored strategies that delivers against customer objectives and key results, mapping to future growth opportunities
• Excellent negotiation and objection handling skills
• Strong oral and written communication with high degree of attention to detail
• Proficiency in active listening and engagement skills
• Savviness using Salesforce, Office, and Tableau products
