POSITION OVERVIEW FOR THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

Sparkloft Media is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Operations to join our growing organization. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, managing the company's strategy, and ensuring the sound financial management and use of resources of the organization.



Compensation: Starting salary of $120,000

THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

Sparkloft Media is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Operations to join our growing organization. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, managing the company's strategy, and ensuring the sound financial management and use of resources of the organization.

Compensation:Starting salary of $120,000

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

A.

Administrative Management

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives, as set by the CEO, to maintain a profitable and growing business.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting and finance, including budgeting, financial reporting, risk management and compliance.
• Oversee contracting process incl. establishing standard processes that reduce risk and drive efficiencies.

B. Organizational Supervision

• Ensure the effective and efficient operation of all departments within the company using methods that improve quality, efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, increase profits, or improve control measures without sacrificing workplace culture and employee engagement.
• Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.

C. Financial Effectiveness

• Manage relationships with financial partners, CPA and other partners and vendors.
• Drive process of continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.

PROVEN KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

• General knowledge of budget management principles with specific emphasis upon capital projects, utility use reduction, and appropriate personnel structures
• Knowledge of housing data management systems.
• Ability to manage a large department composed of varying staffing levels.

KEY ATTRIBUTES OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement and efficiency in an organization.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership ability.
• A proven track record of managing people and teams with a high-level of employee engagement and retention.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior operational role.
• 10 years of experience in senior management experience
• In-depth understanding of the advertising industry – relating to the “service industry” (e.g., compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements).
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles (e.g., budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
