Our client is a rapidly growing bioengineering company that is fundamentally changing the industry with their innovative and cutting-edge CRISPR technologies. They are making waves in life science and clinical research for expanding access to their CRISPR and genome engineering tools and aiding in accelerating scientific discoveries worldwide. The company is in their rapid growth stage as a mid-sized private company, and they have a culture characterized by collaboration, entrepreneurial spirit, and career headroom. Our client been expanding their commercial success and has had strong revenue growth in 2020 and are excited to leverage their momentum heading into 2021.

About the Position
This Sr. Account Manager role is a strategic position to grow the company’s critical business functions and cultivate relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the San Francisco market. This experienced Sr. Account Manager will have a strong technical foundation in cell or molecular biology and will be responsible for consulting with customers on their drug discovery workflows. This newly created role is part of a commercial sales expansion. The Sr. Account Manager will work collaboratively with clients and bring valuable solutions and services to support clients in accelerating their research goals. This is a sophisticated and high-visibility role with significant potential for growth within the company.

About the Job Requirements
• 10+ years technical sales experience in Life Sciences
• Closed business and managed commercial Pharma and Biotech accounts in the Bay Area
• PASSIONATE about their work and supports company success as a team player
• Ability to practice collaborative value-selling and drive multi-departmental engagements
• Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Next-Generation Sequencing, or CRISPR sales and/or research experience is highly desired
