We entered the US market in 2019 through two acquisitions and have been extremely well-received by our communities, customers, and brand partners. We completed our third acquisition at the end of 2021, and in March 2022 acquired a fourth company in the US. We are geared up to invest more in our communities, our brand, and points of sale to unlock further growth across the US.

OVERVIEW:The Transportation Team Lead will support the department manager in all aspects of Inbound and Outbound logistics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all Inbound shipments with multiple carriers
• Prioritize inbound shipments based on release dates
• Work closely with the Inbound/Outbound Operations teams
• Serve as a liaison between Planning and Store Operations with regards to inbound and outbound shipments

• Provides direction and participates in setting expectations for the Inbound and Outbound transportation team
• Leads by example, communicates information, and provides coaching and training on new procedures.
• May directly supervise team members
• Works with other team leaders to ensure that distribution center productivity, quality and teamwork are met
• Trains new hires on all transportation procedures and policies
• Ensures a safe and clean work area
• Maintain a high level of accurate recordkeeping
• Assist with other duties as required

• High School Diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent is required
• 3+ years of work experience in a distribution center environment is highly preferred
• Domestic Transportation/logistics/supply chain experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Previous experience in delegating and leading a team
• Ability to prioritize, complete tasks accordingly to deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and Detail Oriented
• Strong analytical skills
