We are seeking candidates who possess 10+ years ofexperience with a major insurance carrier and/or national broker in commercialProperty & Casualty Risk Control, excellent communication skills, computerproficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and timelinessstandards. Those with these skills as well as knowledge or experience incommercial insurance, inspections, or fire and safety assessments areencouraged to apply.You will be responsibleto schedule on-site surveys and provide risk evaluation and risk improvementreports to insurance industry clients. These reports contain informationnecessary to underwrite a commercial insurance policy, and may includerecommendations to control and/or correct potential loss producing conditionsassociated with that policy. You will be expected to manage assignmentsyou accept, successfully secure customer appointments within a local territoryand complete work assignments on time.You may work on specialprojects or conduct more challenging risk evaluation surveys or riskimprovement service requests that utilize your education, professionalcertifications and overall risk control skills level. Insured businesses rangefrom Middle Market to Large Multi-location commercial size. Consultants will workfrom their home or office, and travel to local commercial business operations(i.e.) retail businesses, restaurants, hotels, apartment buildings andcomplexes, construction operations and jobsites, various types ofmanufacturers, churches, schools, etc. You will assess the risk forvarious commercial insurance lines of business that can include Property,General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, InlandMarine and Builders Risk.Tools or Items You MustProvide:Windows-based PC with an image/document scannerDigital cameraHigh speed internet accessMeasuring device such as: laser, 100 ft. tape,or measuring wheelReliable vehicle Auto and General LiabilityInsurancePreferred Experience 10+ years of RiskControl ConsultingExperience working withmajor carrier or national brokerage preferred BS Degree inEngineering, Safety and/or the physical sciences is preferred CSP or ARM designationspreferred but not required Commercial LinesProperty/Casualty Loss Control Commercial Lines Property/Casualty UnderwritingCommercial Lines Property/Casualty ClaimsAdjusterCommercial insurance inspectionsFire and Life Safety investigations/inspectionsNo Licensed Insurance Agents/Producers.
