What you'll be doing

As a baker you will be responsible for working closely with store manager, assistant store managers, and bakery manager in order to create environment and ensure the success of the store and department through excellent customer service and a demonstrated passion for food. The baker will be responsible for maintaining the company quality and presentation standards at all times with the ability to pull, shape, bake, and schedule needed bakery items. The baker will demonstrate a high level of integrity with department products, with department employees and company customers. A respect for detail by the baker will ensure that we remain focused on creating a wonderful experience for company customers. Baker will lead by example and be expected to create a warm and safe environment for all those who visit company stores.

What your background should be

Prefer a knowledge and experience in a retail baking environment with par baked goods. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills and possess basic math skills for ordering and inventory. Demonstrated multi-tasking skills. Strong merchandising skills are preferred. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at all times with all levels of employees.
