Responsibilities and Duties

  • Partner with the bid team to develop cost estimates from the contract documents and plans.
  • Utilize cutting-edge software including AGTEK, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Trimble Business Center to perform quantity takeoffs to prepare hard bid estimates.
  • Assist in developing grading models.
  • Participate in scheduling, site visits, and time studies to provide accurate estimating data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, including both oral and written skills.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with CAD and Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Strong ability to work both autonomously and with active management involvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote a safe work environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and adjust to changing circumstances.
