Outreach activities such as blood drives, adopt-a-highway, American Heart Associations Awareness activities, etc. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform quality control review and testing for construction projects. Field observation of structural steel welded and bolted connections. Write field reports documenting work performed confirming compliance status with contract documents. Additional tasks may include field testing of fireproofing, concrete, soils, etc. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid CWI license Minimum of 3 years construction experience in the review of structural steel erection. Detailed knowledge of AWS and AISC specifications. Ability to read and interpret plans and directions. Good written and verbal communication skills Possess the physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds as well as climb, bend, and stoop for extended periods and in varying weather conditions. Ability to work nights and weekends, as required. Some overnight travel may be required. Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
