Job Description
Join Jack Link's as an Associate Brand Manager (ABM)to work as part our marketing team to develop long-term strategy and build equity of our emerging brands. This role will focus on growing and developing our newest brands.
As an ABM, you will closely monitor and analyze sales volume and market trends to formulate recommendations for growth. Working under the direction of a Brand Manager, you will lead cross-functional team members in the execution of marketing plans to drive results and be accountable for delivering the brand’s revenue, profit and market share objectives. Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy – Participate in and lead aspects of the development of the brand strategy to achieve long-term and short-term business goals, including strategic planning, brand positioning, brand voice, and brand personality.
- Project Management – Lead product, packaging, communications, and other projects, working across cross-functional teams, agency partners and external vendors to deliver results.
- Analytics and Tracking – Responsible for analyzing brand performance and competitive environment to identify problems, opportunities, and trends, as well as leading reporting of key business metrics.
- Planning and Budgeting - Assist in development of annual marketing plans including integrated marketing communications plans. Responsible for both sales/marketing budget management and forecasting for assigned brands.
- Marketing Execution – Execute elements of the marketing plan for assigned brands, including new product launches, price promotions, in-store creative, media plans, social/digital communications, event marketing, and market research projects.
- Ad Hoc Projects for the Marketing team, as well as other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance or General Management
- 1-3 years of Brand Management experience
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience or MBA Graduate
- Proficiency in Nielsen/IRI syndicated data
- CPG industry experience preferred
- Strong business analytics and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external creative agency partners
- Ability to influence all levels of management internally
- Demonstrated knowledge of the retail environment, trade issues, promotions, social/digital execution, and research
- Personal initiative and willingness to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment.
