Data Intelligence Senior Associate / Manager - Compliance Focused

Data Intelligence team is part of Business Intelligence department. It works at the heart of the exchange across all key global initiatives and teams. Its role is to unlock and drive data driven decision making through actionable insights, driving revenue maximization and cost / process optimization projects through advanced statistical models, data science and projects. We are looking for Senior Associate / Manager with solid compliance background, good communication skills and structural approach to supporting and driving compliance initiatives. We expect solid knowledge of MySQL and experience from working with visualization tools. What you’ll be doing

• Understanding regulatory requirements & requests and providing the analysis & insights based on data
• Working together with data scientists on fraud detection models and other compliance related models 
• Working hand in hand with Compliance regional teams and Global Compliance Ops team on daily basis
• Establishing automated compliance specific reporting & automating repeatable tasks
• Setting up framework and way of working for all compliance related data requests
• Driving compliance related data efforts 

What you’ll bring to Bitstamp 

• At least 3 years of working experience, working with data or closely with regulatory, driving compliance related requests
• Very good knowledge of MySQL or similar
• Capacity to work and deliver either independently or as a part of a smaller, diverse team
• Great attention to details and preciseness in day to day work
• Ability to process, visualize and interpret data
• Ability to solve complex analytical problems
• Active knowledge of English
• Thorough understanding of financial or crypto markets presents a significant advantage
• Knowledge of Tableau or other interactive BI tool presents a great advantage
• Knowledge of Python/MATLAB/R presents an advantage
