Position Summary/Objective

The L&D Partner is responsible for developing and delivering technical and soft skills training courses for a range of internal audiences to maximize individual performance that leads to the achievement of business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support for OSV lines of business by partnering in the development of learning content to support job readiness, engagement, development, coaching and diversity & inclusion; acts as a trusted and credible partner who anticipates needs and proactively recommends solutions
  • Build strong partnerships and consult organizational leaders and subject matter experts to develop cohesiveness through the course development and deployment process and align expectations
  • Design and facilitate exceptional eLearning and classroom content along with supporting materials
  • Collaborate in needs assessments to analyze business training requests and potential solutions
  • Leverage available technology and learning systems in the ongoing design and delivery of programs to maximize the learner experience
  • Develop content based on identified course objectives
  • Draft course design documents, learning objectives, course content, practice scenarios, scripts, and activities
  • Actively develop skill set to stay on the cutting edge of learning technology and facilitation skills

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Five plus years experience facilitating and implementing quality learning solutions using advanced knowledge of adult learning techniques
  • Three plus years experience developing innovative curriculum to support organizational readiness
  • Proven knowledge and experience with training design and development; traditional and modern job training methods; and training evaluation and analysis
  • Hands on L&D experience managing internal business line relationships
  • Proven ability to consistently manage, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, work assignments, and relationships to execute high-quality work with limited guidance; excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, projects, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interviewing, analytical, interpersonal and assessment skills
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Proven ability to conduct needs analysis to identify the best solutions
  • Create value in building relationships and a strong internal network

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience working with either Workday, PeopleSoft or other ERP HR/Payroll systems/applications
  • Previous experience using multimedia authoring/production tools such as Captivate, Articulate 360 or Adobe
