The ideal health claims examiner candidate will have 1 – 2 years of general health claims processing and must be a high producer with excellent quality. If you have strong claims adjudication and organizational skills, we want to talk to you about joining our team.Job RequirementsStrong candidates will possess some or all of the following knowledge:• Knowledge of medical terminology.• Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations• Knowledge of PC applications and systems• General knowledge of claims adjudication• Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence, procedure manuals, and specific plan documents• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limitedstandardization exists• Excellent keyboarding skills• Ability to perform basic math functions – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment• Ability to work under pressure• Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating workloadsWe offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes options for health, dental, accident, cancer, STD, LTD and Life insurance.
