Position Summary:

Responsible for performing any and all duties associated with the venue. To include, but not limited to set-up and breakdown of the venue, supplying tables with service items, maintaining cleanliness in assigned section and throughout the venue and any tasks delegated by management. Making sure the bar is stocked and organized. Responsible for the appearance of the dining room and bar and ensuring that it is always kept clean.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stocking Ice
• Distributing trash cans in proper places
• Wiping up any spills whenever possible
• Maintaining cleanliness of assigned section and back of the house areas.
• Assisting Servers and Bartenders with all tasks.
• Taking out trash (including bathrooms from your individual floor)
• Supplying necessary service items to tables excluding liquor.
• Working with the bartender to create a great energy and atmosphere
• Greet each guest with a good attitude, smile, etc
• Stock ice for the bar and stock all fruits and garnishes
• Restocking beer, wine, liquor, glassware, juices, etc
• Tapping and un-tapping kegs in the walk-in cooler
• Taking out trash and keeping bar clean and organized free of empty glassware
• Running food to tables
• Ensure guests receive their correct order
• MUST have a great understanding of the menu and what is in each dish and drink
• Filling water glasses when necessary
• Wiping down and sanitizing tables when guests are done
• Keeping the bar area stocked with adequate supplies
• Helping with drinks when we are backed up
• This position must possess excellent customer service skills and understand the importance of damage control.

Qualifications:

• 6 months restaurant experience.

Skills and Attitudes:

• Positive “team player” attitude is a must and be able to work with a sense or urgency and “hustle”

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• San Diego County Food handler card (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• LEAD card (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to lift 40lbs safely
