Banyan Search is conducting a search for an Investment Fund Accountant for highly successful Greensboro organization. The Investment Fund Accountant will be an integral part of the Financial Services team working with investments for the organization’s private equity funds and assisting with year-end audits for those funds. This is an excellent opportunity that offers high visibility within the organization and diversified responsibilities. Specific responsibilities of the Investment Fund Accountant include, but will not be limited to:

• Prepare profit and loss statements for private equity fund/portfolios
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial information related to portfolio funds
• Prepare distribution analysis related to fund investments
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis
• Assist with financial databases and financial statement processes

Qualified candidates for the Investment Fund Accountant role will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Private equity experience a plus
• The ability to communicate effectively using both written and oral communication.
• Strong computer skills.
• The ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
