Maybe that’s you.The Director, LCM/ Launch & Competitive Readiness is responsible for providing Competitive Intelligence (CI) and Readiness leadership rooted in deep understanding of the external competitive environment and our internal product/ portfolio strategies, with a focus on early Breast Cancer. This individual also leads future life cycle planning for new indications, formulations, labels for in-line products in the early Breast Cancer portfolio and will develop deep forward-looking competitive intelligence, scenario planning and tactical planning.The primary objective is to ensure our product/portfolio teams are in a constant state of readiness to anticipate and act on external macro-environmental market changes, competitor new launches and other competitor strategies in a legal and compliant manner. Furthermore, they are accountable for leading the development and implementation of loss of exclusivity strategies cross-functionally across the therapeutic area portfolio.The LCM/Launch & Competitive Readiness Director will also be responsible for bench-marking competitor performance, business models and capabilities to develop insights and recommendations that will help enhance product/portfolio strategy and improve readiness execution across functions like marketing, sales, market access, PSS, medical, and account management. This leader proactively facilitates the identification and prioritization of intelligence efforts critical to strategic planning and execution for key stakeholders and provides direction for the design and refinement of intelligence.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Develop effective business and competitive intelligence for the product/portfolio across relevant functions to provide unbiased and fact-based competitive insights, benchmarking, and recommendations regarding commercialization strategies, cross-functional strategies and resource prioritization • Lead team analysis and/or independently perform strategic assessments of select competitor activities, including (but not limited to): market situation analysis, strategic forecasting, strategic and operational benchmarking and articulation of implications in legal and compliant manner.• Appropriately monitor and benchmark strategic plans and key developments of competitors to provide early warning for potential threats and opportunities for successful implementation to prioritized strategic initiatives and tactical plans.• Provide guidance and lead efforts for the creation of effective intelligence programs (including annual budget planning etc.) in support of key stakeholders involved in integrated product strategy.• Proactive surveillance of the relevant disease area portfolio healthcare environment issues including policy, regulatory, health technology to identify key issues relevant to strategic planning initiatives in the US. Partner with internal stakeholders and external thought leaders to explore opportunities to grow competitive share, increase impact and improve profitability for the disease area portfolio• Ensure the effective implementation and integrity of all competitive and business intelligence activities such as primary research, and other appropriate intelligence gathering and analysis projects through timely and appropriate coordination with stakeholders, and external vendors.This position will be located at the East Hanover site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 10-20% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international).
