Experienced Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer who has experience developing software and can solve problems. The ideal candidate will have a BS in a technical discipline including electrical, mechanical, software, or computer engineering; or equivalent experience. In addition, at least 5 years of software or hardware development (or equivalent flight and vehicle trainer experience) with at least 3 years of experience in system engineering techniques and applications is required. Experience in trainer development, simulation and training, and DOD type contracts is desired. Familiarity with PPI (Project Performance International) best practices and V diagram project flow.

Salary Range $96K - $135K

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Working with a team, plan, design, develop, test, and document complex software and hardware solutions for new products, new features, customer demonstrations, and program development.
• Review contractual documents (Specification, Statement of Work, Technical Manuals, etc.) and recommend viable solution approaches.
• Conduct internal software and/or hardware testing to ensure requirements are met during Customer testing. Direct/oversee Customer acceptance test.
• Use technical innovations to improve individual and team processes and code development.
• Make innovative team contributions that improve the overall team performance and improve customer satisfaction.
• Continuously learn new concepts and becomes recognized as an expert in certain domains.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
• Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
• Travel is required
