Our Optical Store Managers have an important role to play in creating the perfect customer experience. You will have the ultimate customer care role, combining optical, fashion and service expertise.

Our prime candidate will be responsible for overseeing all store functions to include recruiting top talent, training associates, sales, ordering supplies and keep track of inventory. Maintaining a positive relationship with our doctors. Must be comfortable and confident with adjustment, repair and dispense of patient eyewear.
• The prime candidate will be able to:



• Supervise and control the operations of the store in compliance with all company security, personnel and optical policies and procedures. Manage in-store marketing; maintain proper inventory levels and merchandise displays, complete required reports. Properly complete all reports and projects on a timely basis.
• Ensure all employees meet customer satisfaction goals; effectively resolve customer concerns and complaints.
• Ensure store meets assigned sales, payroll, accounts receivables, re-do’s, cost of goods, P&L objectives.
• Personally assist customers by giving prompt, courteous and professional service; assist customers in frame and lens selection, accurately complete all required paperwork, accurately measure and order customer spectacles.
• Dispense optical eyewear in accordance with professional standards and in compliance with Federal, state and local regulations.
• Coach and train Associates in technical dispensing techniques, sales, customer service and bookkeeping functions. Continuously develop co-workers’ optical knowledge and skills.
• Perform repairs, adjustments and deliveries of eyewear as needed; verify accuracy of completed eyewear.
• Achieve established sales and customer service goals and objectives.
• Provide customers with correct sales, promotion, discounts.
• Correctly enter sales in to the computer.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Minimum Requirements for the positions is:



• High school diploma or equivalent
• ABO & NCLE preferred.
• Personally assist customers by giving prompt, courteous and professional service; assist customers in frame and lens selection, accurately complete all required paperwork, accurately measure and order customer spectacles.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and algebra
• Work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Should have a minimum of one year retail sales and/or customer service work experience
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Math and algebra ability to accurately calculate and understand optical math, sales, and insurance payments.
• Assist with daily housekeeping.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Occasional travel and work in different store locations in District
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record for locations where staff drive to bank to make deposits.
