Treasury Manager

As the Treasury Manager, you will report to our Director of Finance, work closely with the CFO, and have exposure to the management team. This is a unique opportunity to join aGROWINGcompany in the outdoor industry. Leading candidates must be excited about problem solving, process improvement initiatives, control environments, and financial operations focused on scalability. The Treasury Manager will oversee and manage the cash flow cycles of the business, including the Credit/AR Team and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

· Manage the accounts payable process (1 head), including evaluating current controls and identifying and leading improvements designed for scalability.

· Manage the Accounts Receivable/Credit team (2 heads), including evaluating opportunities for improving cash conversion cycles and streamlining workflows.

· Reconcile and report accurately on major balance sheet accounts tied to cash cycles.

· Maintain and report cash forecasts to management, including opportunities for improvement.

· Maintain compliance with bank and financial covenants.

· Manage banking relationships and hedge contracts over foreign currencies.

· NAV “Power User”. Can be relied upon to be the definitive resource for the efficient use of specific ERP functions and related business processes. Become an expert in information access tools utilized by Simms (NAV, the Sales Cube, etc.) and perform the above efficiently and effectively.

· Flexibility/Adaptability – Ability to adjust quickly to new priority assignments or issues that come to light.

· Communication – Able to communicate findings/issues/resolutions with all effected parties.

· Honesty/Integrity – Upholds the creditability of the Finance Department and provides a positive image of the department to the rest of the company. Properly handles the responsibilities of one working in the accounting field.

· Professional Skepticism – Uses a questioning mind to critically assess the appropriateness and sufficiency of information.

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar

· 6+ years of experience in Accounting field

· Detailed knowledge of AP/AR processes and systems
