Requirements of the

Cost Analyst

• Bachelor’ s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business experience
• Prior 2 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience or equivalent logistics experience.
• Knowledge and application of basic accounting procedures and cost accounting processes.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Access.

Responsibilities of the

Cost Analyst

• Prepare month-end journal entries in compliance with critical reporting deadlines.
• Compile manufacturing cost and transactional reports to support analysis and decisions by finance, supply chain or manufacturing leadership.
• Provide supporting analysis for manufacturing costs associated with Logistics cost function.
• Consolidate logistics transaction and financial data from multiple divisions to provide visibility of logistics spend across various transportation modes.
• Coordinate with Logistics team to provide financial analysis for new business quotes/opportunities.
• Develop annual standard costs for inbound freight.
