We currently have a great assignment for a Construction Quality Control Representative. This individual will support our client, an Ohio based company with three decades of experience providing Federal facility support, environmental services and construction solutions. Job Responsibilities

The Construction Quality Control Representative will become a part of our client’s Construction Group in Piketon, Ohio and will report to the Quality Control Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing all quality control and performance assurance efforts, including the development and implementation of quality assurance plans and processes.

Responsibilities of the Construction Quality Control Representative include:

• Managing the daily activities of Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) personnel
• Planning, directing and implementing new policies, procedures and standards for compliance of the health and safety program
• Organizing, maintaining and controlling the quality system, to include:
  • Analyzing details of construction specifications
  • Reviewing work procedures and work plans for compliance with good work practices and customers contract specializations
  • Preparing nonconformance reports and assisting in the development of corrective actions
• Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, technicians, quality control managers and project managers
• Coordinating site inspections with site subcontractors, to include:
  • Ensuring that all work is prepared correctly prior to undertaking any inspection
  • Ensuring that inspection reports are accurate and that all client program documents for job are updated as current
  • Coordinating with the customer’s Quality Control inspectors for the resolution of site problems
• Perform as a liaison with the site construction engineers

Specific qualifications for the Construction Quality Control Representative include:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Four (4) years of experience in similar QA/QC type roles on construction projects or in a manufacturing environment·
• Experience ensuring compliance to health and safety standards and regulations, such as:
  • OSHA
  • ISO9000
  • ASME NQA-1
• Proficiency with latest versions of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time, on short notice
• Valid Driver’s License
• Authorized to work in the US
