Dave Smith Motors is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Previous dealership experience is preferred. Candidates must have strong organization skills, be detail oriented, can multitask in a very fast paced position. We offer an excellent career opportunity with training and culture to help our employees be highly successful. Accounting experience with CDK/ADP is required.

Responsibilities

• Processing invoices and payment requests into ADP/CDK
• Verifying invoices, expense reports and check requests and ensuring that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Working closely with departments for invoice approval for timely and accurate payment processing
• Preparing and processing accounts payable checks and credit card payments including managing the monthly check runs
• Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end close including reconciling accounts payable transactions
• Correspond with vendors and responding to inquiries
• Data entry and schedule reconciling
• Inter-company transaction posting
• Factory invoice posting and reconciliations
