Job Description







Do you have experience in property and casualty claims? Are you looking for a compassionate, well-established company that has been in business for over 25 years? If you said yes to these, keep reading. The Reserves Network is partnered with an insurance services company that is looking to add a claims examiner to their growing team as they create an entirely new department. The claims examiner will be responsible for investigating and adjudicating personal and commercial line claims.

Duties of the claims examiner:

  • Examine claims and make approval/denial decisions
  • Capture and update claims information within compliance of best practices
  • Identifying coverage levels and payment amounts based on policy information
  • Proactively communicate with claimants and respond to inquiries
  • Refer claims to subrogation and fraud team when necessary
  • Identify and resolve problems related to claims, policies, and procedures

Requirements of the claims examiner:

  • 3 years of experience with life and health insurance claims or property and casualty claims
  • Experience with claims adjudication
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

What to expect as the claims examiner:

  • M-F 8am-5pm schedule, with some overtime during peak season
  • Outstanding benefits include: medical/dental/vision, PTO, parental leave, paid holidays, additional emergency PTO, and more

  • Pay starting at $50,000 salary with some flexibility for the right experience
  • Annual 5% bonus
