We're seeking an experienced, dedicated and caring Physical Therapy Assistant (PT) to join The Hospital of Central Connecticut's outpatient location in Southington, CT.

This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse orthopedic population that offers a wonderful team atmosphere with experienced clinicians and some of the best orthopedic physicians, nurses and physician assistants in New England!

The Physical Therapy Assistant will assist the Physical Therapists with aspects of patient assessment by performing delegated duties such as testing for joint range of motion, muscle strength and mobility status; identifying rehab precautions and contraindications; and assisting in the implementation of patient treatment to meet the needs of the patient.  Recognizes physiological, and age-related changes in the patient, confers with the Physical Therapist, consults with other Health Care Team members, and assesses progress toward goals in order to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications:

• CT active or temporary Physical Therapy Assistant license required
