Henry Ford Health – Jackson (HFHJ) seeking Family Medicine Physicians to join practices around Jackson County, Mason, or Leslie area.

Henry Ford Health Systems (HFHS -Detroit Area) in April 2016. HFHJ entered our 100^th year May 2018. This partnership with HFHS is very exciting for Henry Ford Health -Jackson and our community. The partnership with Henry Ford Health System has allowed construction of a new innovation center (adding State of Art Simulation & Research Labs / May 2017), a Surgical Patient Tower that added 66 private rooms Fall 2018, we implemented EPIC house wide (INPT & OUTPT) in 2016. I am the Manager and Physician Recruiter for our Henry Ford Health – Jackson Medical Group. I have been with Allegiance Health for 28 years, 15 of those in Physician Services. As you read through my email, you will see I am very enthusiastic, dedicated, and excited about where we are going.

Minimum requirements include BC in FM, eligibility for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and a passion for helping make our community healthier. 

Our Emergency room treats an average of 70,000+ visits annually and this year we are looking at a volume of 78,000 ER visits. We have a Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CUB (Cardiac Universal Bed), Radiation Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, Full Service Line of Fellowship Trained Ortho (total joint, hand/wrist, foot/ankle, sports, podiatry and Traumatologist), Physiatrist (PM&R), Neurology and Neurosurgery Service Lines, OT/PT, Certified Stroke Center, Interventional Radiology, two full time inpatient Physiatrist (PM&R) and two full outpatient physiatrists, and Reconstructive Plastics.

I am honored and delighted to report that Henry Ford Allegiance Health received an A rating (along with all hospitals within Henry Ford Health System). This ranks us among the safest hospitals in the United States. We are not your average “community hospital.” We are the hidden gem of Jackson and the only hospital in Jackson County, with the next smaller hospital being 20 miles north(St. Joes/Chelsea). HFHJ  became a certified Trauma center in Spring 2017, and are the only Level II trauma within a 40-mile radius between 94 and 127 HWY. On April 6, 2015, we went live activating Trauma calls, with 24/7 coverage provided in-house coverage with a physician and advanced practice professional.

In 2013 when we developed our own “community based GME Residency program” and today we have 115 residents on site; specializing in General Surgery (3-new residents a year), Internal Medicine (7), Family Medicine (8), Emergency Medicine (8-10), Psych (4) and Traditional Year. We are a dual-accredited program.
