Assistant Storage Manager K SIGN ON BONUS

As a Self-Storage Assistant Store Manager at SecureSpace, you will have the opportunity to help people every single day with the life event that brings them to your store. You will be paid a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments of $500 at the beginning of the 3rd and 5th months of employment.

Assistant Store Manager Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit warranty, moving supplies, and positive reviews.
• Serve and guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
• Call potential reservations back on the phone to confirm when theyll be moving into a storage unit.
  Monitor and manage past due tenants and paperwork related to the lien/auction process.
• Provide best-in-class customer service to existing customers.
• Daily property walks to check locks, check for cleanliness and upkeep, sweep the property, clean units, ensuring supplies are appropriately stocked, and performing other light maintenance tasks.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior members of the team, lead by example with on-the-job training. Clearly and effectively communicate results, updates, and recommendations up to the District Manager or the Leadership Team.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Requirements

• Need to be able to move about the entire 1-acre property (both indoors and outdoors) for customer tours of the facility, to receive, move and restock inventory in boxes up to 50 pounds (on occasion), to position self for inspection and general maintenance tasks, to recognize potential maintenance, safety, and fire issues, and to operate roll-up doors to storage units
• Willing to do some travel (on occasion) to another location for certain scheduled shifts
• Our office is open on weekends, but we are as flexible as possible with scheduling to help you achieve a great work-life balance
