Overview:

The medical assistant is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining chief complaint and vitals, point of care testing, collection, labeling, and handling of specimens, logging patient demographic and visit information, and may be asked to perform injections and phlebotomy. They may also be responsible for some administrative tasks such as answering phones.

Job Responsibilities

Candidates for this Medical Assistant position must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Room patients
• Maintain sterile environments
• Take vitals and patient history
• Assist in office procedures
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Multi-task in a fast paced environment

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Excellent customer service
• Reliable/dependable
• High level of professionalism
• EMR experience (preferred but not required)

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
