Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for an Application System Analyst for one of our clients in the Plymouth Meeting area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.

The Application System Analyst will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and installing to support organization’s application system.

Job Description:

The Application System Analyst will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and installing to support organization’s application system.

Job Duties:

• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
• Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
• May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
• Performs a variety of tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science AND 5+ years of experience in IT or System support and analysis required
• Demonstrated strong software development capabilities with the ability to work under tight deadlines required
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment required
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
• Ability to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology required
• Expertise and strong knowledge of Classic ASP, JavaScript, and the suit of Visual Studios application development required
• Strong Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and writing complex SQL statements required
• Background in developing and supporting Utilities applications in a rea time on call environment required
• Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms required
• Strong documentations skills required
• Scripting skills are a nice to have
• Familiarity with relational databases and client server concepts required
• Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ability to use certain degree of creativity and latitude required
